I’m Gianfranco Bastianelli, an editor and filmmaker based in Lucerne, Switzerland, with Mexican and Italian roots.
My experience covers both editing and assistant editing across documentary features, television productions, short films, trailers, and commercial content. As an editor, I enjoy shaping stories and finding the strongest narrative structure within the material. As an assistant editor, I have worked with complex post-production workflows, media management, project organization, and collaborative editing environments.
Being fluent in multiple languages, I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and contributing to a wide range of projects. Regardless of the format or scale of the production, my focus remains the same: creating cuts that build emotion, serve the story, and deliver a thoughtful, high-quality final product.
